Welcome!
I’m an adjunct professor at the School of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. I previously held positions as a post-doctoral research fellow and lecturer at the Technical University of Dresden, an assistant professor at Curry College, a lecturer and researcher at the Ruhr-University Bochum, and a graduate assistant at Florida State University.
I hold the Venia Legendi in Political Science from the Technical University of Munich as well as a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (summa cum laude) from the Ruhr-University Bochum. I am currently expanding my portfolio through the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and the use of Natural Language Processing Tools.
My research explores how global power shifts and technology interact, with a special focus on big data and artificial intelligence. I am interested in the implications of this interaction for the countries of the Global South as well as in related governance dilemmas which arise at the national and global levels.
